The proposed thematic network REGIONET will bring together scientists, professionals, policy-makers, economic and non-governmental actors with experience in the study and/or implementation of regional development plans to discuss the experiences made so far, as well as the new needs and challenges being faced. The overall objective of REGIONET is to provide an integrated approach to support the implementation of sustainable development in regions across Europe.
